Overview of course
This is an 8 week course where we will be exploring and experimenting sketching with watercolour pencils and painting with watercolour.

What will I learn?
Have you always wanted to learn to draw and paint, but were never sure where to start? Then these classes are perfect for you. This course is suitable for both beginners and students who already have some art experience.
You will learn the basic skills and techniques of watercolour pencil sketching, which include crosshatching, brushing out colour, brushstrokes, blotting, wet on dry, dry on wet, dry on dry, grading colour, learning how to achieve light and shade. You will also be shown the rules of perspective, composition and texture.
Will I have to provide anything?
You will need to purchase materials which can be sourced from specialist stockists such as WH Smiths, or other outlets such as The Works, The Range or online.
