Talentforge

West Suffolk College has received a grant from West Suffolk Council to provide tailored to support local businesses and their staff. This initiative aims to facilitate access to education and training courses that typically fall outside the scope of the Adult Skills Fund and is also available for unemployed individuals.

Our training programmes are designed to meet the specific skills needs of the West Suffolk region, focusing on Brandon, Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Mildenhall and Newmarket. This presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals to gain valuable qualifications, licences, and skills, while simultaneously helping local businesses address skills gaps, boost productivity, and retain their workforce.

Additionally, our training offer aligns with the government's net-zero and broader environmental objectives by including a range of "Green Skills" courses. This will ensure that West Suffolk develops a skilled workforce capable of driving forward these critical sustainability goals.

All training courses are heavily subsidised by the UKSPF, with employers only needing to contribute 20% of the training costs.
