About the course
This course is an intensive, part time study into the fascinating world of reflexology.
Reflexology is a holistic treatment involving pressure techniques applied to the feet or hands which stimulates or relaxes corresponding areas of the body, thus helping the body's systems to function in harmony and maintain a good state of health. The course provides students with all the knowledge and practical skills they will need to be able to provide a reflexology treatment.
All students are expected to attend College three hours a week on an evening and are also required to complete course work and research in their own time. It is compulsory for all students to complete 100 hours of case studies, before they can gain the qualification. Students are also given the opportunity to carry out reflexology treatment on the general public within the college salons. Reflexology is one of the many holistic courses offered to students at West Suffolk College.
