A warm welcome to Digital Saint Productions, West Suffolk College’s commercial arm of the film department, which functions as a fully equipped film production studio offering learners real world experience and clients a cheaper high quality production.
The facility is operated by students and managed by Tony Haer.
Our clients include prestigious companies such as The National Trust, Century Logistics, Fornham Chiropracters, Suffolk Sinfonia, Greater Anglia Railways, Havebury Housing Association amongst many others.
Students work directly with external clients to produce high quality videos for training, promotion and various other artistic endeavours.
On average we work on about 30 different projects a year, which provide the students with a priceless real world experience of working on a live project with a real world client.
We usually ask for an approximate donation of £140 per day exc VAT + travel expenses which is about half the professional going rate.
All donations are then reinvested in equipment and resources for the students to utilise, which gives them a distinct advantage over other colleges with limited resources.
