What will I learn?
Over a period of ten weeks, this practical course will take you on a journey through words spoken every day through to prose fiction and non-fiction, poetry and nature writing.

- From the every day to the unusual: experimenting with words
- Filling the container: experimenting with form
- From the outside in: experimenting with perspective
- From the inside out: experimenting with tone
- Self and other: experimenting with character
- Home and elsewhere: experimenting with place
- The great beyond: experimenting with nature writing
- Keeping it simple: experimenting with poetry
- Editing and refining
- The writing collection: looking back, thinking forwards
