The course is designed for all non-native speakers of English including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and tailored to be inclusive of all cultures and backgrounds.

Assessment
Assessments vary by qualification:
ESOL qualifications are made up of individual assessments by skill: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Functional Skills Mathematics is assessed as an examination of two parts: calculator and non-calculator paper.
Essential Digital Skills involves a digital assessment and observation (depending on level).
British Values involves an online multiple-choice assessment.
Living & Working in the U.K is assessed with a portfolio of evidence that students will build throughout the year.
