This course is designed for people who are new to payroll and covers all the basic functions from setting up the company details to processing payrolls and producing reports.
This is an online self-study course with all course materials and activities provided.

Upon successful completion you will be awarded with the Computerised Payroll for Business Level 1

Course content to include:
- Set up company details and create employee records
- Calculate gross pay and process the payroll run
- Set up pension schemes, non statutory payments and deductions
- learn about SSP
- produce payslips and end -of-period payroll reports for HMRC
Will I have to provide anything?
Funding is available to students who meet certain criteria
Access is granted to Sage Accounts/Payroll for 180 days (six months) therefore the course must be completed within six months.
A 180 day extension can be purchased for £76, but is not covered by the course funding.
