Level 2

This qualification is intended for those either working or aspiring to work in a junior accounting position. It will help you gain an understanding of the processing role as well as improve your confidence with analyzing numbers. It is the progression route through the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications for those with AAT Level 1 Access, or for those without the experience of double entry book keeping.

Classes will be held once a week, from 9:15am until 4:30pm in Bury St Edmunds. The course is due to start in September 2024. Exact dates will be confirmed closer to the start date.

It is the progression route through the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications for those with AAT Level 1 Access, or for those without the experience of double entry book keeping. The course is delivered by an experienced, supportive team of qualified and experienced staff at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds.

 

This is a day time course run from 09.15-16.30 1 day a week.  Dates will be confirmed closer to the new academic year for 24/25.

 

This qualification is intended for those either working or aspiring to work, in a bookkeeping position to gain an understanding of the processing role. It is the progression route through the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications for those with AAT Level 1 Access, or for those without the experience of double entry book keeping. The course is delivered by an experienced, supportive team of qualified and experienced staff at NCTC, Chatteris.

 

This course runs on a Tuesday evening 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

Study times You will be expected to be in college for a minimum of 3 days per week, from 9:15 to 4:00. Your timetable will be confirmed at induction
Entry requirements Four GCSEs Grade 3 or above, including maths or English. You will be invited to an interview and if you show aptitude, enthusiasm and commitment, you may be considered with lower grades.
