Is it for me?
This qualification is for you if you want to get a foothold in the electrical industry and are keen to progress to further study. You will have the opportunity to pick up some core skills and knowledge and progress onto our Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification.
Not only will this course teach you the basic skills and knowledge of Electrical Installation, but you will also develop excellent professional skills during your studies, equipping you for life in the workplace. The importance of resilience and increasing confidence to work independently is strongly developed in this Level 1 programme.

Work experience placements
Work experience is a big part of this course - you'll need to undertake 35 hours within a work experience placement in the sector, which will give you a massive advantage when you are ready to move into employment.

Assessment
Each unit has a written exam, and there are also practical task assessments throughout the course.
