Is it for me?
This course will help you to develop the foundational knowledge and understanding of Health Science, providing a well-rounded and balanced approach to this varied and professional field.
Delivered in our state-of-the-art laboratories and Health Science specialist rooms, you'll cover core topics in Health Science such as nutrition, radiology, and human behaviour. Alongside these vital modules, you can also focus on developing your academic skills, including maths and English.
The course runs over three days a week and you will participate in a range of various engaging and relevant projects, and we will continually build and assess your knowledge and understanding of subjects in the Health Science sector.
The philosophy of this course is to allow you to build on your skills and confidence, helping you to achieve your goals and progress to a Level 3 qualification (including the new T Levels) or an apprenticeship.
What you'll learn
Assignments throughout this course vary but will include learning about various Core Science and Health Science subjects, such as Radiology, Nutrition, Human Behaviour and Earth Science.
Work experience placements
Work Placement/Work related experience projects are undertaken.
Assessment
You will be assessed by taking assignments, which will be assessed internally.
