SEND Offer

Designed to provide students with the opportunity to fully explore their options, find out more about College and ask any questions they may have in order to plan and prepare for making the right decision for them.

We can organise meetings to attend Moving On, Careers and Parent / Carer events at your school and will work closely with you to provide information, advice and guidance on SEND provision and Learning Support at West Suffolk College.

We can offer your students the chance to experience what College is like and find out more about SEND provision and Learning Support by arranging tours and talks tailored to meet your students’ needs.

Open Events are a great opportunity for students to experience all that College can offer, but we understand that this can be a new and different situation for them. To help students gain the very most of these events, our team can offer appropriate and specific support as required for individuals.

Our team will liaise with you to provide transition opportunities that are tailored to meet the individual needs of your students. Whether it is a personalised tour of the College, a chance to see what goes on in a particular department, the opportunity to spend some time exploring an area of interest or a reassuring talk about next steps planning and what College is like, it can be arranged and supported by us.
