"It's great to see industry and education working together to provide our students with the best opportunities and equipment," said Claire Watkins, Head of Science at West Suffolk College.

Tracey Smith is the Global Analytical Innovation Manager at Treatt based in Bury St Edmunds. "Treatt are delighted to support the Laboratory Science T-level programme at West Suffolk College, which fills a gap in education for academic students who choose to follow a vocational pathway," she said. "A student working one day a week over a two year period, within a technical team, enables the student to gain excellent practical work experience, learn the importance of teamwork and good laboratory practice, as well as obtain an insight into the world of flavour chemistry."

Cassandra Fisher, Eastern Colleges Group Head of Industry Placements & Connections, added: "We really appreciate the support given from our employers to help our students gain vital employability skills and experiences. If you would like to partner with us to shape our future workforce in all industry areas please get in touch. We would love to hear from you and how you can help."
