Students from West Suffolk College at the AHT London heats for Hairdressing, Barbering and Make-up competitions.
Monday 11th Feb saw 63 representatives from West Suffolk College, 33 of whom are students, take their models to the AHT London heats for Hairdressing, Barbering and Make-up competitions.
This heat will feed the best students in the region to the nation finals in The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool on 11th of March. We had entrants to a wide range of competitions, across all 3 levels, students left college at 6.30 am and spent to whole day excellently representing their college and teachers flawlessly! Our students are amazing ambassadors for the skills and character strengths instilled by the dedicated and devoted teaching and support staff at West Suffolk College.
We are extremely proud to say that 20 of those students have been successfully placed in every competition, in some cases securing 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, and so will go on to the National Finals of the AHT event in Blackpool. We would like to thank ‘Place 21’ for their sponsorship for this exciting event and for the support they have given the Hairdressing & Beauty Department.
