On Tuesday, March 3, 20 Level 3 Travel and Tourism students in their second year of the course visited Stansted Airport as part of their NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew qualification.
The day got off to a wonderful start with a turbulent free journey to Stansted, with the students eagerly anticipating what the day had in store for them.
The visit included a guided tour and a Q&A session at Universal Aviation followed by a guided tour of the main terminal building which offered an interesting insight into the interior changes within the main terminal. The students demonstrated curiosity by asking interesting and relevant questions to employees about their roles at the airport.
The visit helped to raise aspirations amongst those students looking to carve out a career within the aviation industry. Of their visit to Stansted, the students said:
