If you've studied Joinery and Carpentry at West Suffolk College, we've got a great opportunity to enhance your career credentials.
We're working with the Institute of Carpenters, the Worshipful Guild of Joiners and Ceilers and City and Guilds to help raise the profile and maintain high standards in the joinery trade. This partnership allows us to recommend students and staff, past and present, to apply for the Master Certificate Scheme in Carpentry and Joinery.
There are three levels of certification in this scheme with different eligibility criteria. These include the Craftsman Certificate, the Journeyman Certificate and the Master Certificate. All are high accolades within the trade and can be worked through sequentially should you wish. Any of these certificates will further your career and professional development, enhance your CV and will be looked on favourably by employers.
