Qualification type City and Guilds Level 3 Extended Diploma
Duration 1 year
Study times You will be expected to be in college for a minimum of 3 days per week, from 9:00 to 4:15. Your timetable will be confirmed at induction. Some evening work will be required. 
Entry requirements Entry is by interview with a minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grade 9 to 4, or a Level 2 or an equivalent qualification. A successful induction period will also be required for each student to ensure that they are on the appropriate pathway.

Equipment required for the course

Full Front of House Uniform (details given at enrolment).

Work experience placements

All students will do work related experience within Edmunds Restaurant and an external placement of 40 hours. Some evening work is required

Assessment

Assessments are undertaken throughout the year, including practical observations short answer test and written assignments.
