Is it for me?
This course is ideal if you have a strong interest in understanding human behaviour, crime, and health from both scientific and societal perspectives. You'll explore how psychological theories explain behaviour, how criminology examines the causes of crime and criminal justice responses, and how health factors influence both. This course provides a multidisciplinary approach, combining elements of psychology (e.g., cognitive and social theories), criminology (e.g. crime prevention and rehabilitation), and health studies (e.g. mental health, public health issues). It is well-suited for those aspiring to careers in fields like psychology, law enforcement, social work, or healthcare, or for those considering higher education at the university level.
