If successful, part of the Anglian Water apprenticeship includes the provision of a vehicle, therefore a full driving licence will be essential. |

Is it for me?
This pre-apprenticeship skills programme works in collaboration with Anglian Water and its Alliance partners, providing a fully employer-supported multi-skill construction course. Anglian Water is set to invest £1.1 billion in infrastructure projects over the next 5 years. This programme has been designed with the specific aim of attracting new talent into the utility sector, enabling learners to ultimately work for one of the Anglian Water Alliance companies as an apprentice. The programme is hands-on and you will gain knowledge of a wide variety of subjects including; health, safety and welfare in construction, principles of building construction information and communication and construction site protection barriers.

Equipment required for the course
Safety boots black workwear trousers. All other PPE is provided by Anglian Water and must be worn for every work session.
Work experience placements
Visits and guest speakers:
You will meet a variety of guest speakers from Anglian Water Alliances - some of the leading construction companies in the UK. You will work with Anglian Water professionals to prepare for a career in the water industry with visits to current Anglian Water sites and construction projects.
Assessment
Assessment will be through both practical and written/online assessments.
