Each individual will be fully assessed by our professional tutors and advised which qualification would best suit his/her needs. Students often find attending a functional skills class beneficial prior to starting GCSE to brush up on basic Maths skills particularly if you have not studied Maths recently.

This is an intensive GCSE Maths course running full time over 2 weeks with exams in May / June 2025.

The induction date is Tuesday 22 April at which you will take a diagnostic test to confirm suitability for the course and be given some homework to do before the course starts on 28 April.  The course will run from 28 April to 12 May (excluding weekends) you will be expected to attend everyday.

This class is intensive and designed for someone who already has a L2 FS in Maths or has good basic Maths skills. Alternative options are GCSE Maths class starting in September 2025 running over 30 weeks and also 14 week Functional skills Maths classes.
