Overview of course

Whether you're new to the professional world or want to pivot later in your career, finding the right career opportunities for you can often be a daunting prospect.  We live in an age of information at our fingertips which can often lead to hours of job searching and countless application submissions.  How do you know what career opportunity is right for you?

This course will enable the learner to examine personal job aspirations and look inwards.  Learn how to cultivate trust in future employers by engaging in meaningful career conversations as well as how to list potential career contacts.  In the 21st century there are so many ways to find career opportunities, from job fairs, recruiters, job sites and LinkedIn to name a few, it can be hard to cut through the noise.  Learners will debate the different approaches to job searching, identify a route that is best for them and create a prioritised list of chosen potential employers that best match their personal values.
